SKULK Trail Precautions
Once started there is no going back! There are no exits from The Trail, or the Cave System, if she puts you on that path. Stay on the trail at all times! Remain in the moment and cognizant of your entire perimeter! A few of the creatures prefer the frontal ambush, others a flanking attack. But the really dangerous ones are the stalkers, the creatures that will follow from behind and attack when you are not looking. Keep one eye always behind you and the other everywhere else. If you encounter a creature, whatever you do, DO NOT RUN! Running will likely separate you from the group and there is strength in numbers. Also running on this trail can quickly lead to a fall, or a head thump. Running, stumbling, falling, and screaming shows weakness. Showing weakness will lead immediately to an attack. The best defense is to move together steadily as a group. Even huddle if attacked. If a creature is approximate, and an attack appears imminent,
DO NOT STARE into the Eyes of the Creature but continue to move slowly away and not towards.
Mr. Creepies Big Tent Precautions
Keep your wits! The Big Tent is a claustrophobic labyrinth in its entirety. The floors slants radically. The canvas partitions are precariously divided. There are dead-ends and there are perplexing loops. You will become disoriented. The power is sporadic and intermittent and so the lighting is unreliable. It can become blindingly bright. It does go blindingly dark. Even so, somehow Mr Creepies keeps his eerie, nauseating, hypnotic, carny music blaring despite the power outages. He may play it loud of necessity—to deaden the screams. If separated from your group, or worse, cornered, it is better to scream for the help than to run blindly into the abyss. Or really, it’s better not to scream as this attracts and encourages the clowns—they do love to enhance the misery of others. If you are alone and a clown approaches—SCREAM! Keep your distance! Seriously, the clowns are irrational, they are demented, coo-coo, you’ll see, nothing can explain it except Mr Creepies busted them out of that insane asylum. You just never know…they’re twisted. Stay away from the freaks! You can’t stay away from the maniac clowns, but stay away from the freaks! But mostly, stay away from the clown-freak rejects, they’re not even part of the show, they are usually outside the tent, but they do sneak inside. So, enjoy the Big Tent experience, but don’t linger, and quickly…count heads once you’re out!
